It was lovely to welcome pupils, parents, alumni and staff to Chester Cathedral for our annual Commemoration Service, where we give thanks to the founders of Queen's.
Beautiful performances from our Chamber Choir, Queen's Young Voices, and the winner of our recent Festival of Music, Colette, were enjoyed by all, alongside poignant and entertaining speeches given by Queen's parent Eleni Iles, alumna Ruth Waring, and staff member Mrs Humphreys, who is sadly leaving Queen's at the end of this academic year.
The service concluded with our Year 13 students, The Queen's School alumnae of 2024, leading Year 3 pupils, who will be our alumnae of 2034, out of the Nave.
