Introducing The Queen’s Institute

Logo

We are excited to launch The Queen's Institute and are committed to helping your child achieve the results they want. Specifically, our revision sessions are targeted solely for Year 11 pupils aiming for a grade 7 or above at GCSE level.

Aimed at pupils with a focus and commitment to succeed, The Queen’s School Institute offers GCSE revision sessions for pupils in the Chester and Cheshire West region. During our sessions, we will work hard to prepare your child for their summer examinations. This Easter, we will be offering revision workshops at pupils aiming to achieve a grade 7 or above in the following subjects:

Mathematics Spanish
English Literature Physics
Biology French

Another session called Revision Tips and Techniques for Success - Understanding how we Learn will be with Dr Jack Sheldrake who is our Head of Teaching and Learning at Queen’s. As Head of Teaching and Learning, he supports pupils with several learning processes, such as effective revision strategies, which utilise time as effectively as possible and unpicking how pupils learn and removing cognitive barriers.

Who is The Queen’s Institute for?

This opportunity is open to both boys and girls, the only stipulation being that pupils are in Year 11 and aiming for a grade 7 or above in the subject as the sessions are designed to meet the needs of learners working at that level within the subject.
