Year 4 had an amazing four days of adventure, challenge, and most of all fun at Kingswood.
There was plenty of excitement and singing as the girls set off on their journey on Tuesday morning and they got stuck in as soon as they got there, working in teams to solve problems, putting their listening skills and cooperation to the test!
After a big dinner the girls wrapped up warm ready for songs and marshmallows round the campfire.
Everyone was up bright and early on Wednesday ready for another day of adventures, starting with abseiling and laser quest. The girls were remarkably brave especially during the high ropes in the afternoon.
Thursday’s challenges involved building crate towers and swinging from ropes followed by pond dipping and exploring the natural filtration plant for their water topic. In the afternoon they climbed a very high wall and even tried a bit of fencing!
Friday morning they packed up before taking on the big zip wire and using their design and technology skills to build buggies. All the girls pushed themselves during the week, keen to try new challenges and supporting each other to succeed.
