The launch of our Alumnae Networking Lunches began with two events to begin this exciting new initiative.
Victoria Reeves '92, Chief Executive at the National Justice Museum who has over 20 years’ experience in the heritage and tourism industry, met with Mrs Wallace-Woodroffe before being interviewed by three Year 9 pupils as part of the #womeninspirewomen project. She then met Year 12 for the networking lunch with our Head of History Mrs Tunnicliffe, before attending our Women’s History Society where she talked to the girls about their academic interests and where it could take them in life.
Our next visit was from recent graduate Nicola Kiely '15 who left University College Dublin with a first class honours degree in Economics and Geography, and is currently employed by KPMG as an analyst. She was able to talk to current pupils who are thinking of studying Business at University and offer specific advice around areas such as the value of internships, before attending our Economics Society to deliver a talk.
All Year 12 will be invited to a lunch during this academic year and the initiative will then broaden to other year groups.
