A total of 32 girls from Years 5 and 6 took part in the second AmaSing event at Storyhouse. The girls had been practising the songs and dance moves in music lessons and also at home, and spent a whole afternoon rehearsing before a brilliant performance in the main theatre in the evening.
During the show they saw films of the various art, drama and dance sessions attended by some of the girls, which were linked particularly with the charities chosen - Young Minds and Dementia UK.
There was a wide range of well-known and new songs, with House of Dance and other groups taking part, creating a programme that was in turn energetic, uplifting and moving. Also pictured is Senior School pupil Ruby who took part as part of the HOD elite squad! The girls were absolutely fantastic, performing with so much energy and enthusiasm throughout a really long day!
