Our most recent Saturday Series event, Art Attack, welcomed pupils in Years 4 and 5 to the Senior School for a morning of collaboration and artistic exploration.
The girls enjoyed learning about Fauvism, one of the main focuses of modern art, and worked together to produce a large group mural recreating the painting The Turning Road, L’Estaque by André Derain.
The Saturday Series is a two-year programme of events to make the transition from primary school to The Queen’s Senior School a smooth and exciting process for everyone involved. Girls enjoy making new friends as well as getting to know the staff and the school environment in a fun and relaxed format.
