A clean sweep for our athletes in Years 7-10 who have won two competitions in the last seven days.
Amazing performances at the West Cheshire Invitation Schools Cup event in Ellesmere Port saw Queen’s come out on top, winning 17 out of 20 events to be placed first in the competition with 192 points.
A week later it was on to the Cheshire Final of the National Schools Cup Competition in Warrington.
Teams of 12 competed in two events each, scoring points for their performances towards a team total for the Junior or Intermediate Girls.
The Junior Girls (Years 7 and 8 combined) won with 301 points while the Intermediate Girls (Years 9 and 10 combined won with 267 points.
Both teams will now progress to the North West of England round in June. Well done girls!
