There has been a lot to shout about at The Queen’s School lately and that was before our outstanding exam results!
Following our recent Gold level award for our ‘Outstanding Careers Provision’, we have also been named the 'Most Supportive Independent School 2022 - North West England' in the Lux Life Private Education Awards and ‘Best Independent Girls' School 2022 - North West England in the Education and Training Awards.
The Lower School Beach School programme has also been recognised as a finalist in the 'Best experiential learning' category of the Best Schools Awards.
Headmistress Sue Wallace-Woodroofe said: ‘It is always pleasing to be recognised for the work we do as a school to ensure our students are given the support and opportunities to excel and are stretched and challenged along the way, so we are of course proud of these recent awards that have been given in recognition of the pastoral and academic support students receive at Queen's.
‘Outdoor learning is at the core of our curriculum at the Lower School and we know the tremendous value taking learning outside of the classroom brings to our pupils. Beach School is just one of the ways we do this, so we were so pleased to hear it had been acknowledged in this way.”
