The Queen's School's Year 10 debate team Maryam and Charlotte beat sixth formers from The King's School, Chester in the Chester Debating Society's King's v Queen's School debate.
The long-standing annual debate takes place at the Quaker Meeting House and the winners are judged by a show of hands for the society's audience.
The girls had prepared well for this year's motion which was: 'this house believes we should be able to sell our organs' with Queen's arguing against.
They showed debating skills far beyond their years, presenting their arguments, questioning and responding well and thinking on their feet despite being the younger team.
Well done girls!
