The end-of-term celebrations kicked off with our annual Senior School Trips Day. Year 7 pupils explored the historic Beaumaris Castle, immersing themselves in its rich history. Year 8 and 9 enjoyed a thrilling day of archery and climbing at Condover Hall, while Year 10 and 12 had an active day at Ninja Warrior UK and Liverpool One.
Charity Summer Fair and Picnic Lunch
On Wednesday, the girls enjoyed a picnic lunch and our Charity Summer Fair. Each House hosted a variety of games, stalls, and activities, creating a lively and fun atmosphere. Highlights included the bouncy castle obstacle course and the always popular wet sponge throwing at the teachers, including the Headmistress! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the day's activities. All proceeds will go towards raising funds for our partner school, Soko Primary, in Tanzania.
Annual House Quiz
The school was buzzing with excitement and competition on the final morning of term as our Head Girls Team hosted the Annual House Quiz.
Girls from all year groups put their knowledge to the test, vying for the chance to become this year's House Quiz Winners. Congratulations to Sandford for emerging as the champions!
Recognition must also go to Thompson House for once again coming out on top overall for the total House points scored throughout the year.
These end-of-term activities are more than just fun and games; they are an integral part of school life at Queen’s. Our pupils thoroughly enjoy these opportunities to bond, challenge themselves, and create lasting memories, strengthening our sense of community, teamwork, and school spirit.
A well-rounded education extends well beyond the classroom and experiences like this contribute to the personal growth and happiness of our girls.
