Year 5 had an excellent experiential learning day at Techniquest in Wrexham, taking learning outside the classroom to expand knowledge in a fun and interactive way.
Throughout the day they all had chance to explore the hands on learning sections at the centre and find out how and why the exhibits work.
In the morning, the girls took part in a Space workshop where they completed a water absorption experiment, a drawing communication task, and even observed a fire experiment.
In the afternoon, the girls put their engineering skills to the test to design a model to protect an egg from smashing when dropped from a height.
It was a great day with the girls using the learning powers to work together, be curious and imaginative.
