Queen’s Young Voices had an early start singing on Saturday at the Chester Music Festival. The girls sang beautifully: as the adjudicator commented: “It was lovely to start the day with some lovely, sunny singing”. Well done, all!
Our infant pupils have also been learning a 'Warm up and stomp canon' with Mrs Hall in Music. This week they tried to do it all together in the hall. They started off chanting the words together, using different voices, such as a 'posh' voice, a 'princess' voice and even a 'witch'! The second half of the chant used their 'thinking' voice so the girls just did the actions without making a sound and performed it in canon, first as two groups and then four. It was a challenge doing the same actions at different times but they managed it.
