Years 5 and 6 enjoyed an experience of a lifetime when they visited the Liverpool World Museum to see the Terracotta Warriors exhibition.
The girls took part in an interactive workshop, handling artefacts and dressing up to learn about the background to the all-conquering warrior Emperor known as The Tiger of Qin.
They were amazed to see the life sized terracotta horses and chariots buried with the Emperor as well as the similar army, including the farm animals excavated from the tomb of the Han Emperor.
It was amazing to imagine the sight of thousands of these stunning sculptures when they were first discovered by farmers digging a well.
