An impressive competitive run for Lavinia in Year 11 saw her competing in seven championships at international and national level over the summer, winning four and coming runner-up in three.
In early July She was selected to compete for Great Britain at Hickstead CDI 3* International and achieved second place in the Pony FEI Team Test.
Later that month she was selected to compete for England at the British Dressage Youth Home International and won all three competitions over the three days on her pony Dublin:
• The warm up Advanced Medium Test
• The Pony Team FEI Championship
• The Pony Individual FEI Championship
In early August Lavinia and Dublin were just 1 point off winning the British Dressage Youth Under 25s Pony Championship for a second year. They also achieved an impressive second place, just half a point off winning, in the Advanced Medium Freestyle to Music Championship. Dublin was the only pony in the class of horses, and Lavinia the youngest rider.
Later that month they won the inaugural British Dressage Summer Music Festival Advanced Medium Bronze Championship and as a result featured on the British Dressage website news.
