The day came a lot earlier than planned but our Year 11 and Year 13 girls still got to mark their end of year celebrations last week before the official closure of school.
The resilience and positive attitude of the girls shone through as Year 11 enjoyed their obligatory shirt signing on Thursday. Friday was non-uniform day with the theme ‘Wear what makes you happy’ in support of International Day of Happiness. The sun was shining as Year 13 and staff set up a game of rounders on the field, followed by lunch in the hall where the girls shared photo montages of their time at Queen’s. There were tears, laughter, encouragement and of course no end of year celebration would be complete without a rendition of the School Song!
We look forward to welcoming all the girls back in the near future for a proper celebration but in the meantime the education continues as we move to remote learning.
