The weather was very kind for Year 6's adventures at the Conway Centre in Anglesey.
The girls were so excited to be away together and threw themselves into every activity with energy and enthusiasm. From the very start they demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills and worked collaboratively to construct Tyrolean bridges across canyons, which they then bravely traversed!
During activities such as abseiling, high ropes and canoeing, the girls were really supportive of one another and offered words of encouragement when any nerves set in. It was lovely to see them conquering their fears and challenging themselves to try new things.
We definitely took away a brave group of water babes who were eager to jump into the sea when given the opportunity! But the highlight of the week was definitely a day of surfing at Rhosneigr - we couldn't believe how many of the girls managed to stand up! The instructors were hugely impressed by their resilience and determination!
Overall, it was a fantastic week filled with fun, laughter and adventure and the girls did themselves and us proud!
