Sixteen girls travelled to Robin Park in Wigan to compete in the AJIS sportshall athletics competition. The girls took part in a range of track, field and relay events and all performed brilliantly with lots of medals won plus two new AJIS records were set.
The girls that finished in podium places were:
• Emily in Year 6 won gold in the U11 1 lap race -New AJIS record of 11.81 seconds
• Lucy in Year 6 won gold in the U11 3 Lap race
• Olivia in Year 6 won gold in the U11 Balance beam
• Lucy and Emily won gold in the U11 Paarlauf Relay - New AJIS record 75.79 seconds
• Fran, Aster, Sophia and Millie in Year 6 won silver in the U11 Obstacle relay
