We bade farewell to the Queen’s Leavers of 2019 at the traditional Michaelmas Supper after Prize Giving, with a lovely meal and lots of excitement about what lies ahead for our newest alumnae.
As usual, the girls enjoyed drinks on the ‘Q’ before eating at tables which the staff rotated around, in order to hear as much as possible about their next steps.
While Mrs Wallace-Woodroffe expressed some slight chagrin that she has had only one year to get to know these fabulous young people, she and Mrs Clare Holland, Alumni Officer, reassured the leavers that they are always welcome back and are of course ‘Queen’s girls all their days’!
