Our Music for a Summer Evening event was a delightfully varied programme ranging from well-known classical pieces to tunes from today’s charts.
This concert focuses on the talents of the younger girls of the Senior School and for many of them is an opportunity to take their first steps on the performance pathway.
This year’s highlights included several groups which are entirely self-motivated and practise without any teacher support. 9W are so often to be found singing in their form room that a class choir seemed the logical next step!
A spectacular evening of eclectic music which included performances from our flute ensemble, brass ensemble, Junior and Senior Choir, a saxophone duet, oboe ensemble and Ukulele group to name but a few.
