Katie Townsend has been elected as Head Girl with Amy Agnew and Katie Barlow taking up the Deputy Head Girl positions.
Head of Sixth Form Robin Wilson said: ‘My huge congratulations to Katie, Amy and Katie on your appointment as the new Head Girl Team, I know you are all going to do a superb job of representing the student body.
‘As always, the calibre of applicants this year was tremendous and it was an extremely difficult task for the Headmistress, myself and Mrs Tunnicliffe to choose the final three. I want to congratulate everyone who applied as they were all impressive applications and highlight once again the quality of able and talented students we have at Queen’s.’
The Head Girl Team plays a crucial role in the school community, representing the student body at events, co-ordinating School Council, overseeing and coordinating the House Captains and Prefect Team as well as being part of assemblies, to name but a few.
