Thirty talented young writers from 15 local primary and prep schools attended a writing workshop at the Senior School after being shortlisted for the final of our Grrrl Power writing competition.
The day involved drama activities, workshops on writing engaging openings, book making and slip cover design before they all enjoyed a talk from a published author. At the end of the day all the finalists were presented with certificates and the winning entries for each age group announced.
The three winners had their stories artworked by a professional illustrator - an amazing prize and something to treasure for life!
