At Queen's, we regularly go beyond traditional learning boundaries. We proudly hosted our annual MMI (Multiple Mini Interview) evening for Year 13, specifically tailored for aspiring medics, dentists, and healthcare science applicants.
This event is part of a wider programme of preparation for courses at universities that interview for places. It is run in a “speed dating” style with students having a specific time at each of up to 10 stations, and taking part in a task, a discussion, or a role play.
As we are now starting to hear of the success of our pupils in securing interviews at universities such as Cambridge and St Andrews, this preparation is both timely and vital to continue the strong tradition our pupils have in gaining places at the most prestigious institutions.
This year, our community came together with valuable support from alumni and parents who lent their expertise to the mock interview process, showcasing the collaborative spirit that defines Queen's.
While our Year 13 girls benefit from a comprehensive support package in navigating the competitive university application process, our Year 11 girls eagerly anticipate transition opportunities next week, including a 'Sixth Form Life' Q&A, a visit to Manchester University, and an A-level subject fair.
Under the guidance of our Head of Careers, Mrs Dawson, individual career interviews and insightful sessions will ensure our students make informed choices for a successful future. Welcome to a place where preparation meets success – welcome to Sixth Form at Queen's.
