We are grateful to the overwhelming number of alumni who are offering careers mentoring and support to Year 12 and 13 girls, providing industry top tips.
Our programme of Friday ‘Zoom working lunches’ was launched last week with six women in business sharing stories of their time after leaving Queen’s, their university journey and how they chose their degree subjects while giving practical advice to our Sixth Form girls.
We’ve also been gratified to witness networking in action amongst more senior and junior alumni. But former Queen’s students of course don’t limit their advice to other alumni - tales of second and third year uni students supporting and tutoring lockdowned new first years also make us proud.
