Recognising the achievements of our girls is something we value greatly at Queen’s. Our annual Prize Giving service at Chester is always a special event where girls are presented with their well-earned prizes ranging from Subject awards to bespoke awards for specific areas of achievement.
It was an honour to welcome alumna Mrs Lindsay Skoll CMG '89 as our guest speaker for the service, where she delivered an incredibly inspirational speech about her life since leaving Queen’s.
Lindsay is currently the Deputy Head of Mission in the British Embassy, Moscow, a key advisor to the Ambassador, and responsible for the daily management of the British Embassy. She has led a fascinating life which she spoke about during the Prize Giving Service with great passion. Earlier she had spoken to a group of Sixth Form students at the school about her career path, the importance of self-belief, hard work and being able to bounce back from failures.
