Superb success for our Indoor Hockey teams who are celebrating a clean sweep in the Chester and District and County competitions, winning across all age groups, something that has never been done before.
The U13, U14, U15, U16 and U19 teams have all been crowned either Chester and District or County Champions following their superb performances in the competitions.
Head of Hockey Mrs Green said: “To have achieved such a high level of success across all the age groups is a phenomenal achievement and is testament to the hard work, resilience and determination these girls display at training and in matches. I am so proud of their development, they are a pleasure to teach and such a high level of success deserves to be celebrated. Well done girls!”
The U13’s won convincingly without conceding any goals in their competition to take secure the Chester and District trophy.
The U14 team showed great nerve and character as their semi-final against Wilmslow went to penalties, before a convincing win against Bishop Heber in the final.
The U15 team scored 13 goals without conceding any in their tournament, convincingly winning all four games.
A run of success for the U16 team has seen them crowned Cheshire, North West and North Champions!
The clean sweep was completed by the U19 team who beat The King’s School 2-0 in their final to become Chester and District Champions.
We are now hoping to build on this success in the outdoor competitions with two teams currently at the quarter final stages and one team in the last 16.
