We are thrilled to announce that our talented Year 12 debating team has secured a place in the regional finals of the prestigious MACE National Schools Debating Competition.
The team, comprised of Olivia, Kitty, and Simran, demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork as they navigated their second-round debate on whether musical works should be copyrightable. Arguing in favour of copyright, the trio impressed the judge with their eloquence, well-researched arguments, and ability to confidently counter opposing views.
Their outstanding public speaking skills and the depth of their ideas were commended, showcasing the dedication and intellect that Queen’s is known for.
Congratulations to Olivia, Kitty, and Simran on this fantastic achievement! We wish them the very best of luck as they prepare for the regional finals.
