Queen's Young Performers Shine in "Forever Treasure Island"

The Senior School was abuzz with excitement as our Year 5 and Year 6 girls delivered a stellar performance of "Forever Treasure Island." The young actors captivated the audience with a remarkable display of talent and enthusiasm.

The production, which brought Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic adventure to life, saw students immerse themselves fully into their roles. Whether it was safeguarding Jen's secret and the hidden treasure map or portraying the pirates on a quest to uncover the buried treasure, the performers did an extraordinary job. The plot thickened with whispers of mutiny, but under the leadership of Captain Smollet and with the aid of island resident Ben Gunn and the infamous Long John Silver, the story concluded with everyone safe and sound.

The girls' singing, acting, and dancing were outstanding, showcasing their hard work and dedication. This production was a particularly poignant moment for the Year 6 students, marking the end of their journey at the Lower School as they prepare to transition into Year 7 in September.
