Our Year 12 students enjoyed a team building induction to Sixth Form on a residential visit to Anglesey.
The Friday to Saturday visit to the Conway Centre on the Menai Strait was aimed at introducing the girls to their new tutors, to Sixth Form life and to each other.
The event involved an overnight stay and a range of outdoor and classroom-based activities. Girls enjoyed an afternoon of challenges such as assault courses, construction tasks and group work that tested team work and concentration. This led on to Saturday’s wet 'n' wild raft building session where teams constructed their own raft and raced them while completing challenges and collecting loot along the way.
Good fun was had by all and it was a great way to start the year off on a high energy note, helping to mentally prepare the girls for the challenges to come.
