Rounders
We're incredibly proud of our superstar Year 6s, who won the ISA Rounders cup competition and were unbeaten all day!
A dream team with all girls playing their part and supporting the team. Well done everyone! A special well done as well to Tiamii for achieving Player of the Tournament.
Senior School
Netball
Hana in Year 11 was recently chosen to co-captain Wales U17s in a super league curtain raiser match, at House of Sport in Cardiff.
Playing against Celtic Dragons U19s, her team won 50-26. Such a proud moment! It was a fantastic day of netball, with lots of opportunities and learning. Very well done, Hana!
Tennis
Congratulations to Zara who, over half term, competed in the North Wales County Championships, coming 2nd place in the U14s and 1st place in the U12s.
Later this year, she will play for the U12s, as the first seed for North Wales. Well done on all your hard work, Zara, and good luck in your future competitions!
Equestrian
Eva in Year 9 recently represented The Queen's School and won the 90cm National Schools two day event at Princethorpe College. What a fantastic achievement, congratulations Eva!
Abby in Year 10, Sophie in Year 8 and Eva in Year 9 were selected to represent Wales and Borders at the Pony Club Junior International Tetrathlon Competition in Warwickshire. Sophie was made captain of the Junior Team and finished 8th out of 80 competitors! Abby also did brilliantly, coming 3rd in her age group. Well done!
Swimming
It's been a busy year so far for Liv Watts in Year 9, who qualified for 33 out of 34 events across the Cheshire and North West regional swimming championships. She won 9 medals over two championships and has now qualified for three individual events at this summer's English National Championships. Well done Liv, and good luck!
Congratulations also to Clemmie Batt in Year 7, who has qualified for 5 events in swimming for the Welsh National competition this summer. She will be swimming against some of the best competitors in the UK. We wish you the best of luck, Clemmie!
