School was visited by a reviewer from the Good Schools Guide, an independent consultancy known for its quirky and, at times, controversial opinions on a range of schools, so we opened our doors with a little trepidation!
We need not have worried. The review has now been published on the Good Schools Guide site and we are delighted to let you know that it is fulsome in its praise of Queen’s, in every single area.
The reviewer spoke at length with Mrs Wallace-Woodroffe and Miss Carmody but spent most of her visit talking to groups of girls from a number of year groups across the Lower and Senior Schools as they led tours of the school sites.
Mrs W-W said: "I am not in the least surprised about how well the girls represented themselves and the school during this visit. Their enthusiasm, character, warmth and confidence shines through in every line of the review, and I must also thank those parents who offered their points of view as part of the process.
The final paragraph of the review sums things up nicely for me -'A wonderfully empowering environment in which girls flourish academically but also personally, with bountiful opportunities on offer to pursue extracurricular passions and interests of every variety.’ I am proud to be leading such a fabulous school."
