Students in our Sixth Form enjoyed the 'trip of a lifetime' on the Sixth Form Cultural visit to New York.
The students made the most of their three days in the city, squeezing in as many famous attractions and activities as possible that we have all grown up seeing on our movie and television screen. The Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Time Square, the Brooklyn Bridge, The 9/11 Memorial, The Empire State Building, Central Park, Bloomingdales, Macy's, the Rockefeller Centre, a show on Broadway - the itinerary read like a bucket list!
The group was blessed with fantastic weather - 23 degrees like summer - which made walking those famous Manhattan streets - Broadway, 5th Avenue, Park Avenue - and taking in the sights, sounds and smells of New York even more of a pleasure.
The group have made great memories they will never forget and are looking forward to telling the school community more about it in the coming weeks.
