It was a wonderful day for Year 2 Beach School at West Kirby.
From discovering and comparing crabs and making soundscapes, to designing a brand new sea creature collaboratively, followed by a hearty lunch with hot chocolate, much was achieved and tremendous fun was had by all.
If their muddy beach clothes were anything to go by, they had a ball.
